CS Computers has technicians on-staff who are trained to diagnose and repair computers problems whether they are a result of a mechanical issue, component failure or faulty software.
There is no need to make an appointment. However, computers are generally serviced on a first-come, first-serve basis. We can usually give you a diagnosis fairly quickly, but depending on how busy we are and whether parts of software need to be ordered, actual repair times can vary from later that day, to about one week.
Before you take your computer home we will gladly go over it with you and make certain you are satisfied with its operation.
What to Bring With You
For Desktop PCs: Typically, if you're bringing a desktop PC in for repair, all we require is the desktop itself. There's no need for you to bring in any peripherials such as your keyboard, mouse, monitor, or printer, unless you are experiencing problems specifically with one of those items.
For Laptops: When bringing your laptop in for repair, we ask that you also bring the laptop's power adapter. We have several on hand, but many laptops have model-specific power adapters. You're welcome to put everything into a laptop bag, though it's not necessary.
Recovery CDs/DVDs If you have your computer's original recovery disks, it's a good idea to bring them with you. Many times we can repair corrupted files on your system by extracting them from a recovery disk. Having the disk specifically made for your computer guarantees that these files will be compatible with your system, saving both time and money.
Protecting Your Data We strongly recommend that you make regular backups of your data. With any type of repair services, though rare, there is always the possibility of data loss. We'll do our best to protect your data, including helping you back up documents and personal files. However, we make no guarantees against data loss. We'll always ask your permission before doing anything that could severely impact the data on your computer.
It is CS Computers' policy not to discuss or divulge the contents of any files that are on a computer that we service.
